ANTI RAGGING

At RS Pharmacy College, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment in line with the guidance of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and relevant legal frameworks. The following policies are strictly implemented:

• Zero Tolerance Policy: Our institution has a zero-tolerance stance on ragging and harassment.
• Awareness Program: Orientation sessions and periodic workshops ensure all stakeholders are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
• Safe Campus: CCTV surveillance and a grievance cell ensure campus safety.
• Reporting Mechanism: Students can report incidents to the Anti-Ragging Committee, ICC, or the college grievance cell.

Anti-Ragging Policy

• Ragging in any form—verbal, physical, or psychological—is strictly prohibited on campus.
• As per the UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging (2009), engaging in ragging is a punishable offense that may result in suspension, expulsion, or legal action.
• A dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee is present to monitor and take action on any incidents of ragging.

Other Relevant Policies

We also adhere to the legal frameworks surrounding sexual harassment and provide resources to prevent and address any issues regarding sexual misconduct. The college takes every measure to ensure all students and staff are treated with respect and dignity.
